Juan Vercher Grau (b. 1940) is a renowned Spanish clarinettist and pedagogue, who for many years was Professor of Clarinet at the Conservatorio Superior de Música (Joaquín Rodrigo) in Valencia. Tu Y El Clarinete (You and the Clarinet) is a popular Spanish Clarinet method, first published in 1985. Its preparatory exercises introduce the student to different keys and scales, including chromatic scales and interval exercises, with the aim of developing fingering technique.
